Upcoming Youth Day Camp 2024

Our youth will be holding a Day Camp on 21 and 22 June 2024, titled “Unpacking God’s Big Picture” and Joshua shares what they’ll be doing and how the church can keep them in prayer.

What is it about

“God’s Big Picture” is about the Bible being one unified story, God's story. Another word that describes what we will be studying is Biblical Theology. Biblical theology is an important skill to learn because it helps us interpret Scripture well. It is our hope that our youths will be able to know the overall story of the Bible so that they can understand Scripture for themselves. We hope that by reading and understanding Scripture, they will come to know the amazing gospel of Jesus Christ and come to have faith and believe.

Who is it for and what can they expect

The day camp is for all youth who are between ages 12-18. Yes, P6-ers are welcome as well! It is not only for GBC youth, all youth are welcome. If you know any youth who might be interested, let them know and invite them to come along!

What can the youth expect? They can expect all the same activities at our annual youth camps! We will have games, food, engaging studies, discussion groups and lots of free time. The only difference is that we will be meeting at church and we won't be staying overnight. Come early at 9am in the morning and spend the whole day together and go home at 9.30pm at night.

How can the church participate

Church, you can participate by letting youth you are in touch with know about the day camp. The church can also help by coming over any time during the day camp. There are also opportunities to provide food or snacks if anyone in the church is willing to offer.

Most importantly the church can be praying for the camp. Pray that the Spirit will work through the preaching of the Word. Pray for soft hearts so that the youth will come to believe in the gospel. Pray for lots of energy and strength for the leaders and all involved in helping at the camp.

If you are interested, you may sign up here, or contact Joshua (joshua@gracebaptistchurch.sg).
