Family Dedication (August 2026)

We held Family Dedications at our 30 August service and two families participated that morning:

• Hewlett, Melanie with Chloe and baby Gabriel

• Jonathan, Wen Qi and baby Hannah

Pastor Eugene led the Family Dedication and reminded these parents that God has given them great gifts and has made known His expectations of raising children. They made their commitments before the church to be godly parents only by God’s grace and strength.

The members of the church responded by pledging to help them by sharing our lives with them, encouraging them and partnering them in their endeavours to raise these children.

The families were also given some time to introduce themselves and share ways the church could be praying for them.

Eugene led the church in prayer. He thanked God these good gifts and prayed that these parents will continue to be strengthened. We also prayed that they would continually have joy and gratitude in their hearts for all His good gifts and will continue to lean hard upon Him, who is trustworthy and true. May God’s Spirit empower them daily to serve them as parents too. We prayed for their marriages, that they will continue to love each other and walk in ways that display God’s love. He also prayed that as a church, we will also be able to love and care for them, and encourage them, just as they have been an encouragement to us.

Church, our Children’s Ministry is always looking for more Sunday School Teachers and Nursery Volunteers. This is one way we can continue to love and serve our families, and care for the children in our midst.
