In the month of April and May, we embarked on a 4-week series titled, “God’s Design for Men and Women”. We have compiled some additional resources if you have questions or would like to explore more!

We held our Members’ Meeting on 11 May 2025. We voted on elders, welcomed new members, heard of updates about missions and our missions partners, and also head about other updates in our church life.

This is a short series in the Songs of Ascents in the Psalms. We will be studying Psalm 120-124 from May to June as well as in December.

Here are two books for our parents to consider using to teach and start conversations about the topic of gender with children.

On 6 April 2025, we held an EQUIP session titled “Who’s in charge of the church?” taught by Pastor Eugene. We have edited the content and published it here. The first article focused on how Jesus is in charge of the church. In this second article, we will see the role that members play.

At our 13 April 2025 service, we acknowledged the service of our director and a number of deacons who are stepping off after their terms of service. We were introduced to new deacons too.

In our day, the issue of gender is generating more and more discussion. What does it mean to be male and female?

As we seek to help our children to understand the storyline of Scripture, some members share which children’s Bibles they have found helpful.

At our 9 March 2025 service, we acknowledged the service of two of our elders, Mok Chuan-Xin and Caleb Yap after six years of service.

This past Wednesday marks the start of Lent. What are some practical ways we can undertake to prepare our hearts more intentionally in the days leading up to Good Friday and Easter?

We are excited for the upcoming Church Camp with the theme, “Go: Community on Mission”.

Members have initiated a focused prayer session for the church plant in church on 28 February (Friday) at 8pm. While it began as the initiative of one care group, interest has grown and it is now open for anyone to join. Read more about this and see you there!

In 2025, we kicked off a sermon series at GBC from the Gospel of John. 

To help us understand the book better, this article sheds a little more light on the Gospel author, its context, purpose and structure. 

We baptised and welcomed three new members at our 19 January service. Members of GBC had voted to receive them at the Members’ Meeting on 12 January.

We started our new year with our first Members’ Meeting on 12 January 2025. We welcomed new members and also heard of updates in our church life. A key item that was shared by the elders was regarding our plans to begin the process of planting a church.

Nicholas Quek joins us as our new Ministry Worker for Youth Ministry, beginning 1 January 2025. Here, we interview him to get to know him a bit better and also learn more about the work that he is going to do.
