We’ve been hearing so much about Church Camp and we are now nearing the camp! We invited Mok Chuan-Hao who is this year’s Camp Commandant, to share more about the camp theme, what to expect and how we can prepare by praying.

What does it look like for men and women to work together? What does it look like? Our Children’s Ministry has intentionally designed their ministry to live this out. Pastor Jeremy and various volunteers in the ministry share how men and women work together.

Who is in charge of the church? We have already seen how Jesus is in charge and the members of the church also play an important role. We have also seen how God has given elders to the church. So, what can we do as church members?

As a church, we have been learning about God’s design for men and women. Here, we interview Jonathan and Eng Meng, who share about how they seek to live as men and women, husband and wife and how God has been growing them through their marriage. They also share about how they are involved in the lives of others through pre-marital counselling.

The Women’s Ministry conducted their first ever Open House on 6 April 2025. Anna Yap, known to many of us as “Mimi”, who helped to prepare for it, shares this Open House.

From 6 to 10 Mar 25, a team of six conducted the quarterly English Camp at Kathy’s Home in Pua in North Thailand and celebrated 25 years of God’s faithfulness and grace at Kathy’s Home.

As a church, we desire to obey Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations. We are thankful for gospel partners overseas that align with our aims and have been partnering with First Baptist Bandung Church, who coordinates with SINERGI.

Some of us may know Emily and the art that she does in her calendar. Here, Emily shares with us what prompted her to illustrate and compile a calendar. This month, we share the illustration from John 6:35, which features the beautiful Breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis).

The Wednesday Bible Study (WBS) is a midweek Bible study group for men and women. Kenneth Lee shares with us how studying 1 Samuel has encouraged him.

Over the past two weeks, we considered the motivation behind planting a church, as well as some of the alternatives to planting. But what does this mean for us now? What can members do at this point? 

This is also a busy and festive season for many. This opportunity to gather with family members is also one that we can use to share and live out the gospel. How can we hold out the gospel to those we meet in this season?

Our elders have shared about our desire and plans to plant a church. It has been heartening to see that many members agree with these motivations and have been prayerfully considering this. Some have also wondered about alternatives to church planting and in this article, we seek to address some of these alternatives and options.

Our elders have shared about our desire and plans to plant a church at various platforms over the past few months. Over the next few weeks, we will publish a series of articles that will hopefully shed light on our motivations and how we can embark on this together as a church.
