Help Wanted!

One of the aspirations for our church is to encourage "every-member ministry". Paul wrote in Romans 12:4-6a to teach the church in Rome, and us, that in one body, we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function. In the church, we are all one body in Christ and individual members have been given different gifts to use for the good of the body.

Thus, we desire to encourage "meaningful church membership, where every member of the body is actively engaged in ministry to build up the whole church".

Throughout the week and at our weekend services, different church members are at work to serve the church and build up the church with their gifts. As the church regathers, and more ministry resume in-person meetings, there has also been more opportunities and ministry needs.

We are highlighting 3 ministry opportunities here! Ministry opportunities can also be found in the weekly ministry guide. If you are interested to find out more about these ministries, feel free to reach out to them, and their contact details are provided below.

Every service, a team of committed volunteers makes sure that slides, video and sound run smoothly for worshipers both in the sanctuary and at home. The ministry is looking for volunteers for three roles: slides, camera and video mixing and sound mixing. A few members of the AV team share their experience in an interview here.

No experience required and if you are keen to serve or find out more, contact Eugene (eugene.low.wa@gmail.com) or Dikaios (dikaios.pang@gmail.com).

We’re excited to bring back coffee and tea after Sunday worship to encourage all to linger and fellowship together. This was definitely something we missed during COVID! We invite members to join our volunteer team to help with preparation and clean up. Those keen to serve can write us at welcome@gracebaptistchurch.sg.

Do you remember when you were a youth? If you do, you will know how tricky it was to navigate life as a teenager. Our youth need people at church to help disciple them to understand what it means to be a Christian. Read more about the ministry in this sharing by a youth and a youth leader.

If you have a heart for the youth at GBC and would like to find out more about Youth Ministry, please get in touch with Joshua (joshua@gracebaptistchurch.sg).
