Children’s and Youth Ministry 2026

Every Sunday, over 165 children and youth come to church. The Sanctuary visibly empties out when the children are dismissed for Sunday School. But have you wondered what they are learning and how you can help raise the next generation for the Lord?

We recently held a parents’ engagement for those with children under the age of 18. Pastor Jeremy reminded parents of the special responsibility God has given them and exhorted parents to prioritize the discipleship of their children. In particular, parents and the church should desire our children to have a big view of God, love God’s Word, believe in Jesus and live for Him.

Pastor Jeremy encouraged parents to regularly lead the family in devotions so that they can model worship of God. Parents were given a devotional booklet and Sunday School lesson summaries to promote regular family devotions. Resources on helping children read the bible on their own were also given out.

To come alongside parents, we have introduced a new holistic curriculum. Our 0 to 8 year olds will be using the “Generations of Grace” curriculum, which is a three-year chronological study of the Bible. Through this, our children will learn about our need for redemption and how the Bible points to Jesus Christ.

Our 9 to 12 year olds and youths will be using the Truth 78 curriculum. This focuses on knowing God and His will, the essentials of the Christian faith and how to live for Jesus.

Please pray for our parents and teachers as they model and teach God’s truths to the next generation. Let us pray for God to grant our children understanding and faith so that they too will hope in God.

As our church family grows, serving in Children’s Ministry is an important way to meet this growth and care for our families. We’re looking for 6 Sunday School teachers, 5 Nursery helpers, and volunteers for the children’s track on 9 May. Please prayerfully consider partnering with us in this meaningful ministry and speak with Pastor Jeremy (jeremy@gracebaptistchurch.sg), Siew Ting (siewting@gracebaptistchurch.sg) or Nicholas Quek (Youth Ministry) (nicholas@gracebaptistchurch.sg).
