Upcoming Training Day (12 September 2026)
Our next Training Day is around the corner, and it will be held on 12 September 2026 from 9am to 12.30pm. Our Weekender participants will also join us that day, so we look forward to a morning of learning together with them!
The morning will begin with an “Ask Anything” session by the elders. As always, bring your questions and come ready to ask them!
Following that, we will split up to join one of 7 tracks available that morning.
Church Matters
This is our membership class but it is not just for prospective members. This goes through what we believe as a church, and what it means to be a church member. It aims to foster a biblical understanding of the church and church membership.Listening and Speaking to God
God speaks, we listen; we speak, and He listens. Primarily for new members but open to any who are interested, this track will explore what it means for us to listen to God in his word (first half) and speak to him in prayer (second half).
Sustainable Church Planting
Held in partnership with Trellis Capital, a church-centered investment group, this track will discuss how business can support church planting in global cities. How to Read the Bible: Pentateuch
Creation. Fall. An escape from slavery. The Ten Commandments. Wandering in the wilderness. A lot happens from Genesis to Deuteronomy, dramatically shaping the rest of the Bible's story. Come and find out how to make sense of the first five books of the Old Testament, also known as the Pentateuch. When “I do”Falls Apart
God says, “I hate divorce” (Malachi 2:16). But in a fallen world marriages do experience deep brokenness. How should we respond? How can we faithfully walk alongside those facing separation or divorce with biblical truth? How can we exhibit Christlike compassion and offer gospel hope while upholding God’s design for marriage?Women Growing Together
God has called us all to do spiritual good to one another but women may wonder what they are to do, or how to do so. This class will help us understand why and how we can all help another woman grow.Stewardship for God’s Glory
God has entrusted each of us with precious gifts—our time, our money, and the choices we make. How can we steward them faithfully in different seasons of life, whether we are busy with work, enjoying retirement, or facing the final chapter of life? Join us as we explore biblical wisdom on living intentionally, faithfully, and for God’s glory.
Our children will continue to have their own track. The 4-12 year olds will continue their “God Always Wins” curriculum, and this time, they will learn how God wins over all gods. Childminding will be available for those below the age of 4.
Church, let us look forward to spending a morning learning together and getting to know others in the church. To help in the planning and organisation, do sign up by 31 August. 2026.
