Thanksgiving for Our Elders and Deacon

At our 12 April 2026 service, we acknowledged the service of our elders – Nehemiah and Jonathan, and our deacon Kagen who are stepping off after their terms of service.

We have updated the church about it at our recent Members’ Meeting and took the time in our service to thank them for their service. Deacon Kagen, who served with the Young Adults’ Ministry, completed his term of service on 28 February 2026, while Elder Nehemiah and Elder Jonathan completed their terms of service on 31 March 2026.

During the service, they also shared how we can continue to pray for them as a church.

• Kagen is looking forward to some transitions later in the year, and shared that we can pray that he will continue to be faithful with what God has entrusted him with.

• Jonathan shared that we can pray for his family to grow in their love for Jesus and for His people.

• Nehemiah requests prayer that he and his wife will be able to love and serve each other well in the upcoming time of rest and change. Pray also that they will continue to be faithful, and do the work of ministry as members of this local church.

We thank God for their years of faithful service and pray that God will refresh and strengthen them as they continue to serve the church as members. Let us also continue to pray for our current elders and deacons, that they will hold fast to the faith and continue to depend on God as they seek to love and serve His people.
