The Weekender—and How You Can Help

From 10–13 September, we’ll have the privilege of welcoming around 80 pastors, elders, and church leaders from 13 countries across Singapore and Southeast Asia for the Weekender.

Why we're doing it. Jesus says, “To whom much is given, much is required” (Lk 12:48). God has blessed our church in so many ways, and we have the joy of serving other churches with what we’ve been given.

Many of these brothers serve in hard places. For four days, we get to serve them, encouraging them to press on in the work of the gospel. This is one way our church partners with other churches in the work of church planting and revitalisation. This is one way we can take part in the work of the Great Commission to the ends of the earth.

How you can help. Hosting these brothers well takes many hands, and there's a place for everyone:

  • Hosting – opening your home for four nights from 9–12 September (this is our most significant need).

  • Serving – providing snacks, helping with logistics, and being available to help during the Weekender.

  • Welcoming – spending time with them on their free Saturday afternoon (12 Sep), and warmly greeting them on Sunday.

Whatever your capacity, would you prayerfully consider lending a hand? Sign up here!

And above all, please pray – for the brothers travelling to us, for the time of equipping and fellowship, and for God’s glory to be displayed in healthy local churches.
