Christy Loi reflects on the hope that Good Friday and Easter Sunday brings the Christian today and for all eternity.

Who is in charge of the church? We have already seen how Jesus is in charge and the members of the church also play an important role. We have also seen how God has given elders to the church. So, what can we do as church members?

As a church, we have been learning about God’s design for men and women. Here, we interview Jonathan and Eng Meng, who share about how they seek to live as men and women, husband and wife and how God has been growing them through their marriage. They also share about how they are involved in the lives of others through pre-marital counselling.

Here are two books for our parents to consider using to teach and start conversations about the topic of gender with children.

The Women’s Ministry conducted their first ever Open House on 6 April 2025. Anna Yap, known to many of us as “Mimi”, who helped to prepare for it, shares this Open House.

At our 13 April 2025 service, we acknowledged the service of our director and a number of deacons who are stepping off after their terms of service. We were introduced to new deacons too.

Joshua Lowe has been working with our Young Adults since the start of the year. He shares about this ministry and the ways that he has been encouraged and sees God at work.

In our day, the issue of gender is generating more and more discussion. What does it mean to be male and female?

Nicholas Quek has been our Ministry Worker focused on the Youth Ministry since January 2025. He shares more about the goals and focus of the Youth Ministry, and how we, the church, can also support and love the youth.

Recently, Carrie had the chance to read the Bible with some new believers. She shares her experience and encourages us, the church, to continue to care for the young or new believers in our midst in this way.

From 6 to 10 Mar 25, a team of six conducted the quarterly English Camp at Kathy’s Home in Pua in North Thailand and celebrated 25 years of God’s faithfulness and grace at Kathy’s Home.

At our 9 March 2025 service, we acknowledged the service of two of our elders, Mok Chuan-Xin and Caleb Yap after six years of service.

We held our Members’ Meeting on 9 March 2025. At this meeting, we welcomed new members, heard of updates in our church life including an update on some of our missionaries and missions partners.
