We have come to the end of our “Multiply” series on church planting. Two prayer sessions have been arranged for all of us to come together to pray and trust God for the plans.

The Lord Jesus speaks to us today with the same urgency as He did to the seven churches. What would our Lord have to say about Grace Baptist Church? May He find us faithful. May He find us listening to Him.

We were blessed to host Dr Geoff Chang recently.

We baptised 3 new members at our 17 May service. Members of GBC had voted to receive them and 8 others at the Members’ Meeting on 10 May.

We held our second Training Day on 9 May 2026 with about 150 adults and children gathered on a Saturday morning to learn and be equipped together.

We begin a new sermon series this Sunday. Pastor Ryan shares with us what this series is about and how we can prepare our hearts for worship.

Church planting, fundamentally, is God’s work—which means every church planting effort must begin with God’s Word.

We held our Members’ Meeting on 10 May 2026. The church gathered on level 2 with their snacks and coffee/tea and Elder Toshi opened the meeting with prayer. 

This Saturday, we have the privilege of gathering together to learn from one of God's great gifts to the church — Charles Spurgeon.

Recently, our Women’s Ministry Workers, Carrie and Bibianna, had the chance to visit International Church at Mont Kiara (ICMK) in Kuala Lumpur to speak at their women’s event. Bibianna shares about their experience and what was encouraging about this trip. 

At our recent Training Day, we had 5 different tracks covering various topics in the life of a Christian. If you would like to read up more about these topics, here are some recommendations! Some books are also available at our book table, whilst stocks last.

We held our Women’s Ministry Open House on 26 April 2026. The goal of this Open House was for the church — men and women alike — to learn more about ministry that has been going on among the women of GBC.

In Ephesians, we have been learning about how God has brought us together in Christ. Cecilia Kang shares how she experienced the love of the church and learnt to see how God has designed for the church to be a family.

Fiona Teong has been reading the book Treasuring Christ When Your hands Are Full with the Mums Connect group. She shares a short encouragement and lessons she has learnt from reading this together with the ladies.

In our sermon series in the book of Ephesians, we have been learning about the riches of the gospel and how it transforms our lives and relationships. Our book table has also stocked up the following books.

At our 12 April 2026 service, we acknowledged the service of our elders and deacon who are stepping off after their terms of service.

Our next Members' Meeting will be held on 10 May 2026 after service from 11.15am to about 12.30pm on Level 2. Do note the change in venue for this meeting!

The work of welcoming at GBC is not done by the Welcome Ministry alone but is a church-wide effort involving various teams as well as the congregation as a whole, i.e. you and me. We share what it looks like and how we can all play a part!
