Women of Grace 2025: Side by Side
On 1 November, the Women’s Ministry held their Women of Grace event. Usually held once to twice a year, the Women of Grace event aims to bring together women of GBC for a time of equipping and mutual encouragement.
This year, the theme was “Side by Side” and we invited a guest speaker, Elizabeth Baruah, to speak to the ladies.
Resources from Side by Side
On 1 November, our ladies held their Women of Grace event. This focused on how women in the church can walk side by side to strengthen, counsel and encourage one another to persevere in the faith and remain steadfast in the Lord. Here is a list of books and resources that were recommended at this event.

Upcoming Women of Grace Event: Side by Side
The Women’s Ministry will be holding a Women of Grace event on 1 November. Titled “Side by side” this will focus on how women can walk with one another side by side, steadfast and faithful.
Upcoming Men’s Seminar: Men’s Pursuit of Sexual Purity
In this men's seminar, two pastors from Agape Baptist Church, Pastor Too Teh Hsin and Pastor Wong Guoliang, will shed light on the topic of sexual purity for men. Having ministered to many through their church's men's ministry, they bring a wealth of experience in practically journeying with men—young and old—toward sexual purity.
Remember Your Creator
The Preacher in Ecclesiastes 12 had a word for those who were younger, that they ought to remember and respond to the Creator in the days of their youth. We also reached out to some older saints in our church to hear from them what they would like to tell younger men and women.
New Children’s Ministry Curricula
At our Members’ Meeting in May, Pastor Jeremy shared about the new Children’s Ministry curriculum. Here, he shares more about what our children will be learning.
Training More Women in the Word
The Women’s Ministry held a month-long training on Bible reading and it was encouraging to see women of GBC gather to be equipped.
Equipping Our Young Adults
Joshua Lowe has been working with our Young Adults since the start of the year. He shares about this ministry and the ways that he has been encouraged and sees God at work.
Loving and Serving Our Youths

Art Fellowship Outreach
From April to September, this Art Fellowship Outreach took place on Thursday afternoons. Two 8-week series were conducted, and Yuh Jane, who organised and participated, shares with us about what they did, and how it also encouraged members to love each other, and reach out to non-believers.
