Loving and Serving Gladiolus Place
For a couple of years now, a group of GBC members have been reaching out to the residents and staff at Gladiolus Place through a monthly dinner. Moreen Tai has been helping out, and shares with us what they have been doing, and how God has been working in the hearts of our members, as well as ways we can support the ministry in prayer.
Children’s and Youth Ministry 2026
We recently held a parents’ engagement for those with children under the age of 18. Pastor Jeremy reminded parents of the special responsibility God has given them and exhorted parents to prioritize the discipleship of their children.
English Class for Migrant Workers
Nicholas Chuan shares about our monthly English class for migrant workers in 2025. Learn more about their plans for 2026 — which includes increasing it to two classes a month — and also how we can be keeping this outreach effort in prayer.
Baptisms and Transfers – 18 and 25 January 2026
We baptised and welcomed six new members at our January services. Members of GBC had voted to receive them and another four by transfer at the Members’ Meeting on 11 January.
Reflections of a Ministry Worker
As announced, Joshua Lowe, who was our Ministry Worker, has transitioned out of his role here at GBC. He reflects on his time here over the past 5 years, and thanks God for the many ways God has also used the church to grow him.

We held our the first Members’ Meeting of the year on 11 January 2026. At this meeting, we welcomed new members, heard of updates about some of our members and learnt about other updates in our church life.

Sermon Schedule — Ephesians: One Church
Paul’s letter to the Ephesians is a remedy for identity amnesia. God is also reconciling redeemed sinners to one another through the gospel. God’s people are one in Christ. We are one church.
Looking Ahead to 2026
At the start of a new year, we may be inspired to make new resolutions or draw up plans for the year. Some of us hope to consistently keep up habits and disciplines. Others of us may be looking to try something new in the year.

Watchnight Service 2025
The Watchnight Service, held in the evening of 31 December, was a time for us to gather as a church family to reflect on the past year. In doing so, we remembered to thank God for His faithfulness and provision, and also commited to following Him in the year ahead.
Training Day (31 Jan 2026)
EQUIP is our equipping and training platform that exists to equip us with God’s truth, that we may grow in our knowledge, love and service to Him. This year, training will take the form of 4 Training Days. Find out more about the first upcoming Training Day on 31 January.

Baptisms and Transfers – 21 December 2025
We baptised and welcomed seven new members at our 21 December service. Members of GBC had voted to receive them at the Members’ Meeting on 9 November.

What are we living for? What ambitions and goals direct our lives? Whose plans and purposes do our lives revolve around? Faced with life’s challenges and comforts, it is easy for us to become spiritually complacent. How might our priorities be in need of a reset?

Serving at Youth Camp 2026
Maureen Koh was one of the helpers at our recent youth camp. It was her first time serving, and also the first time at a youth camp. She shares her experience as a helper, what she learnt from serving and ways the church can continue to trust God to work among our youth.
Members' Meeting (11 Jan 2026)
Our next Members' Meeting will be held on 11 Jan 2026 after service from 11.15am to about 12.30pm on Level 2. Do note the change in venue for this meeting!
Christmas Brunch Outreach 2025
